Day 8: Be Realistic
(If you are new to my blog or couponing I recommend you starting with Day 1 of my Beginners Guide to Couponing) Congratulations if you have followed along thus far and have tried out what I have told you in the Begginner’s guide to couponing! Everything should be coming together at this point, and should be much easier to understand since Day1. As long as you are committed to saving money, you will see your grocery bill drastically decline. You will never be able to avoid paying full-price for some items, but you will be able to cut your bill in half. It takes some practice and planning to fully understand how to get the best deals, so it is extremely important to stay organized.I am sure that people will start to take notice when they come to your house and see your stockpile because you will end up having much more than you probably need. Share the knowledge and help others to save money as well.It is best to start out slow. With all the excitement of saving money you will want to get every deal at every store. Be realistic. Focus on one store at a time, and occasionally go to others when there are great deals. Learning a store can take some time, and is very overwhelming.Keep in mind that every sale isn’t a once in a lifetime sale. Items will go back on sale again! If you missed out or only had a coupon for 1 item, don’t worry!Strategically shopping is a lifestyle change! If you still have any questions, please feel free to post a comment below.
