Easy Valentine's Day Dessert for Kids
Last week, I shared my ooey gooey brownie game day recipe using Pillsbury™ Brownie Mixes and Frostings with you.
Well, I am back with a fun and delicious treat for you to try for Valentine’s Day. In my previous post I shared how I like to stock-up to save money.
Nothing is worse then opening your pantry and not having the ingredients you need. Luckily, I stocked up on Pillsbury™ Brownie Mixes and Frostings from Walmart, so we did not have to wait to make these fun Valentine’s Day brownies.

With Valentine’s Day right around the corner my kids are getting ready to celebrate a friendship at school.
For anyone who has been around my blog for awhile, you know that I love to incorporate a holiday or event with my menu. Since it is going to be Valentine’s Day I thought it would be perfect to make individual heart brownies for their friends and teachers.
Both of my boys have 18-20 kids in their classrooms, so I did not want to spend a lot of money on a treat. The price of making these brownies is much more inexpensive then buying a box of chocolates for each student and teacher. Plus, Pillsbury™ has pink icing!
I knew we would have a lot of fun baking these heart-shaped brownies, so I invited my niece over to help.
Thankfully, Pillsbury™ makes it easy to whip up a batch of brownies because the kids were anxious to not only put icing on the hearts, but also eat the brownies too.
Even though my kitchen was covered in icing and small bits of chocolate it was totally worth it. All the small moments in life are the ones that leave the biggest imprint. We all had a lot of fun making our heart-shaped Valentine’s Day brownies and will definitely be making more brownie recipes for other holidays.
I would love to hear how you are going to #MixUpAMoment this Valentine’s Day, please share in the comments below!
