Fun Kids' Activities On Your Phone - Knoala App

As a mom of three kids it is difficult trying to come up with creative activities to keep my boys occupied while still learning something new. They have an extremely short attention span and are always looking for something to do. I have a hard time coming up with new ways for them to have fun and stay occupied while I am trying to cook dinner or do house work.Knoala ReviewI recently downloaded Knoala onto my iPhone. Knoala is a FREE app with over 2000 activities that parents can do with their children. This app is great for kids from newborns to preschoolers.Once you download the app you can enter your child's name, age and gender and then you can filter the activities by preference. Here are some filters that you can choose to narrow your search of activities:

  • Indoor, Outdoor, Mealtime, Car, etc
  • Artistic, Emotional, Cognitive, etc.
  • 5min, 10min, 15min, etc.

I love the fact that you can pick age appropriate activities for each child. Now that the weather is getting colder we are stuck inside a lot more, so this app will be perfect for me to find them activities to do!Knoala AppWhile I was using the app I found some really great activities for my children. Since Connor is three he is currently learning how to recognize and trace letters. The activity that he enjoyed was Name Tracing.Knoala Review - Fun Kids Activities on iPhoneConnor was so excited when he was able to stay on the lines for the whole letter. As you can see he did pretty well with the "C" and needs some more practice with the rest of his name.Knoala will show you exactly what your child will learn from a particular activity. For Name Tracing it focused on Fine Motor, Pre-Writing and Eye Hand Coordination. He enjoyed tracing his name and was able to do this activity several times. Knoala AppHere is the activity that my two year old, Mason, had fun doing.Knoala Review - Fun Kids Activities on iPhone Knoala Review - Fun Kids Activities on iPhoneI used different colored cups for this game to allow him to not only recognize the color but to also focus to remember which cup the finger puppet was under. We played this game over and over and it never got old. He honestly would laugh at himself if he would not pick the right cup and would be so proud when he found the finger puppet.I definitely recommend downloading Knoala from iTunes if you have young children. We had a really fun time using the app and finding new activities to do that challenged my kids. I look forward to finding more fun activities to do with my boys!
