No-Candy Valentine's Day Gift Idea for Kids

Often times people only think about their spouse or boyfriend/girlfriend when it comes to gifts for Valentines Day. This is a holiday that can be shared with the whole family. My kids get so excited to decorate and count down the days for holidays so I wanted to share in the love with them and find the perfect gift idea.I have been searching for an alternative gift idea for my boys instead of the usual chocolate and candy. Not only is it short lived, but my kids do not need to be eating a lot of candy to celebrate the holiday. Last year, my oldest was in Preschool for the first time and I was opened up to this whole new world of Valentine's Day cards, gifts and candy. My son came home with more candy than I had expected, so I definitely do not want to add to that sugar high this year. Plus, my youngest is only one, so he definitely does not need to be eating chocolate.I was more than THRILLED when I saw these Itty Bittys from Hallmark. They are the PERFECT gift idea for my boys. I love that they can keep this gift to enjoy throughout the year. We have so many Valentine's Day stuffed animals that we end up putting away for the whole year and only bringing them out for a few days. And, for some reason most Valentine's Day stuffed animals are huge, these Itty Bittys are the perfect size for my kids because they can take them along anywhere we go. I was too excited to wait to give them each an Itty Bitty for Valentine's Day so they are already enjoying them now!Check out all the places our Itty Bittys have been in the past few days.
