Our Ripley's Aquarium Adventure - Myrtle Beach, SC
Disclosure: My husband and I received free admission into Ripley's Aquarium. All opinions are 100% mine. While on our Myrtle Beach vacation my family and I had the privilege of visiting the Ripley’s Aquarium, which is located at Broadway at the Beach. This was a great escape from the rainy weather we had during our vacation and allowed a fun and educational visit for my kids. Most people only think about going to the beach when they are vacationing, but Myrtle Beach has much more to offer.Ripley’s Aquarium provides several different activities and exhibits including an underwater tunnel, hands on experiences, mermaids and much more! One of my favorite parts of the aquarium was the underwater tunnel. It was a lot of fun to slowly experience what it would feel like if you were in the Ocean. It is really neat to experience the marine life close-up.
The Saw Shark was by far my kids favorite! They honestly thought it was hilarious and could not take their eyes off of it.
Since our kids are still fairly young they needed to have some time to get out of their strollers and burn off energy. I loved that Ripley’s had an area where kids could go around and play and learn. They even offered a tank where they could feel stingrays.
Our family had a lot of fun at Ripley's Aquarium. I highly recommend taking the time to go when you are in Myrtle Beach. For more information about ticket prices and how you can save money buying combo passes check out their site. Also, take a look at their hours and location before visiting. I hope you and your family enjoy it as much as we did!
