Simplifying The Night Time Routine
This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Ivory Soap. The opinions and text are all mine.
Last night when I walked into the bathroom the sweet aroma took me back to when I was a kid. I know, I know, when you typically hear the words sweet and aroma the bathroom isn’t the first thing that comes to mind. But in this case, the classic scent of Ivory soap that filled the room reminded me of bath time when I was young. My son, the sophisticated six year old that he is, was drawing a bath for his baby sister. He loves to help out when he can and I am not one to say no. With three little ones to look after, this mama is exhausted! He filled the tub with warm water and Ivory Clean Body Wash so she could splash around in the bubbles. When it comes to her baby soft skin, I just love that I don't have to worry about all of the harsh chemicals that most bubble bath and body washes contain.Ivory Clean is free of dyes and heavy perfumes and reflects over 130 years of experience creating gentle products the whole family can trust. This is such a relief to me because it's a one and done! I am not purchasing multiple products for each member of the family which in turn saves us money as well. When my sweet baby girl was done playing and splashing in the bubbles, her big brother sat and read a bedtime story to her. These are the moments I will forever cherish! In the mix of the routine, we can't forget about our little pickle in the middle. That is one of the many nicknames that we have for our daughter, Maleah. She is such a little lady in the making and just loves to "do what mommy does." Honestly though, I cannot complain! She will only be this little for so long, and these will be the moments that I will long for once she's grown. So for her, we did a mini facial. She loves to use Ivory Bar Soap because of the fresh, clean scent and the way it lathers. I love it because it is 99.44% Pure and I know it will not be harsh on her skin. I can remember doing the same thing as a child at my grandmother’s house. She always had a bar of Ivory soap in the dish on the sink. I would wear her terrycloth headband to keep the hair off of my face and use the Ivory bar soap to wash off the day. Our sweet night time routine is becoming a ritual around here and I am more than delighted to incorporate the same, trusted, Ivory products that both my mother and grandmother used with their little ones.
