Strawberry Trifle Recipe

You need to try this Strawberry Trifle recipe – yum!! As you probably know I love making different kinds of trifle recipes. Make sure you take a look the other simple trifle recipes we have made.

Strawberry Trifle Recipe

Now when I am making a trifle I will just see what kind of ingredients I have and put it in. That is the best part about trifles, you can change the ingredients and make the dessert how you prefer it. Below you will find all the ingredients I used to make this Strawberry Trifle along with instructions so that you can try it too.

Strawberry Trifle Ingredients:

• Strawberry Cake {I use the store bought kind but you can make it too}
• 1 Large container of Cool Whip or 2 Small Containers
• 1 Can Strawberry Pie Filling {You can use fresh strawberries}
• 1 Large Pack of Vanilla Instant Pudding

Strawberry Trifle Directions:

Start by preparing the cake. Make sure you wait until the cake is cooled before starting the trifle. Next, make the pudding. Since I use instant it is ready fast.Now you are ready to begin your layers for the trifle. I always like to start with the cake so that you have a base {and it is easier to serve}. Here is how I layered this strawberry trifle:

1. Layer of Strawberry Cake – I normally crumble it but you can cut pieces as well
2. Layer of Vanilla Pudding
3. Layer of Strawberry Pie Filling
4. Layer of Cool Whip
5. Repeat

I topped mine with a little bit of the strawberry pie filling but you can add fresh strawberries or just leave it plain.
