Chocolate Teddy Bear Baby Shower Favor Lollipops
This was my first time making any type of chocolate lollipops. I was not sure what to expect, but the entire process was extremely simple. You will need a little patience depending on the amount of colors you would like to use for the chocolate lollipops. The best part of this favor is that you do not need to have any experience with making candy, you can just do it yourself. Follow our easy steps below to make your own chocolate teddy bear lollipops. Here is what you will need:
- Chocolate Candy Mold- Teddy Bear Mold, I would suggest getting more than 1 to save yourself some time especially if you are going to have a lot of guests. It is easier to make a bunch at a time rather than just 4.
- Candy Melts - I got blue and Cocoa Melts since this was for a baby boy. You can use pink, or even yellow for a gender neutral baby shower.
- Clear Treat Bags and Sucker Sticks
Chocolate Teddy Bear Baby Shower Directions:
To start, you will need to melt the chocolate wafers that you are going to be using. Since I knew I wanted the bears to be chocolate with just a little bit of blue, I used more of the cocoa wafers. I poured about half of the bag into a microwave safe bowl and heated it on high. It may not look completely melted, but the more you stir the more they will melt. Repeat this process for all the colors you want to use.Next, I painted the bow ties on the teddy bear baby shower blue. I used a small paint brush to do this. I then added the melted chocolate wafers into the mold. If you get any into the bottom of the mold where the stick sits you can just clean it out. You will then need to press the sucker sticks into the mold. Make sure you spin the stick around so that it is coated in chocolate.Put the mold in the freezer for about 5-7 minutes. Gently take the chocolate lollipop out of the mold. I then added mine into the clear treat bags and sealed with a blue and brown ribbon to match the baby shower. Look how cute it turned out!I played around with the colors a little bit to see what looked best. These chocolate lollipops can be made for any occasion just by changing up the mold that you use.
