Oreo Trifle Recipe
I honestly love making different recipes to put into my pampered chef trifle bowl. They are easy to make and you can alter the ingredients to fit the occasion.
When I hosted a baby sprinkle for my sister I used pink cake so the layers looked really pretty!
Oreo Trifle Recipe Ingredients:
Brownies or Cake {these can be homemade or store bought}
2 Containers of Cool Whip or 1 Large container
1 Package of Oreo Cookies
2 packs of Instant Chocolate Pudding
Extras: you can add caramel sauce or hot fudge
Oreo Trifle Recipe Directions:
You want to start by preparing the brownies or cake. If you choose to use store-bought then you can get started right away, otherwise, wait until your brownies/cake have cooled. Next, prepare your pudding. I recommend using instant pudding.
You will then need to crush up the Oreos into small pieces. I did this by placing them into a baggie and using our rolling pin.
You can actually just use your hands because they crumble very easily. I like to save a few extras just in case you want bigger pieces on top of the oreo trifle.
Now begin your layers. I like to start with the brownies/cake so that it has a base.
I think it makes it easier to serve, but you can layer it however you want. Here are the layers I did:
Layer of Brownies
A layer of Chocolate Pudding
A layer of Cool Whip
A layer of Crushed Oreos
Repeat
I then added the crushed oreos to the top to make it look nice! I have also tried a Heath Bar Trifle too. Here are some other recipes to try: Smores Cookies, Pretzel M&M Bites and Reindeer Cookies!
