How To Make Pear Baby Food

Making your own baby food is much easier than it seems. Not only can you make your child their own food when you are cooking your own meals, but you can also spend an hour to stock-up your freezer with your baby's meals for an entire month.

2 Whole Pears {depends on the amount you want to make}
Water
food processor or blender
Start by peeling the pear and removing the core.
Next, cut the pear into small pieces. You are then ready to cook the pears. You can either steam them using a steamer basket or cook the pears in the microwave. If steaming, cook for about 10 minutes or until the pear is soft. If you choose to cook the pears in the microwave make sure you add about 1/4 cup of water and cover.
Cook for about 3-5 minutes.
Next, you will need to puree the pears so that they are the right consistency for your baby.
Add the small pieces of the pear into your food processor and add about 1 cup of water. If your child is older you can add less water, but if your baby is just starting to eat food then make sure the food is runny. You will then need to serve, refrigerate or freeze the carrots immediately.
I always like making extra so that I can freeze it and use for other meals.
